Abstract:
Fluoromethyl derivatives of phenothiazine such as 2-substituted aryl-3-N10 [(acetylamino) 1,3- thiazolidine 4-ones] 8-trifluoro methyl 1-carboxyalic acid 10H phenothiazine and 5 arylidene 2-substituted aryl3-N10 [(acetylamino) 1,3- thiazolidine 4-ones] 8-trifluoro-methyl 1-carboxyalic acid 10-H phenothiazine have been synthesized and tested for their anti-bacterial and anti-fungal activities. Structured of the synthesized compound have been elucidated on the basis of their elemental analysis and spectral data.
