Almost 14 meters in one fell swoop

Attractive bridge piers

In the south of Hungary the last gap on the M6 motorway is being closed. The centrepiece of the 20 km long section between Bóly and Ivándárda on the border with Croatia is a viaduct over the Majsi river. The uniquely designed support structure was realised according to plan using technical solutions provided by MEVA.

Harmonious “Dreiklang” in Aarau

Marti AG Zürich is extending the hospital complex in the capital of the eponymous canton in Aarau through the construction of an extensive replacement building involving systematic use of BIM. MEVA delivered the wall formwork including safety system as well as pre-assembled shaft platforms for the cores.

In the Skies above Manc-hattan

An increasing number of skyscrapers are dominating the skyline in the English city of Manchester. The region’s leading property developer, Renaker Build Ltd, which has already built more than 6,000 new apartments, is primarily responsible for the striking change to the urban landscape.

Joint and tie hole pattern in focus

The formwork planning for two new buildings at the OWL University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Lemgo, Germany was a challenge. However, the result speaks for itself: The buildings shine forth in excellent concrete quality to the full satisfaction of the principal and the architect.

Over the roofs of Lisbon

AluFix solved the challenge

In Torggata, in the middle of Oslo’s nightlife district, MA Entreprenør renovated a historic five-storey residential building. One challenge was the necessary raising of the ceiling in the basement from 1.8 to 3.7 m. When building in existing structures, the lightweight multi-purpose formwork AluFix came into its own.

Extension of the Vienna metro

An important future-oriented public-transport project is being carried out in Vienna: the central transfer hub in the inner-city metro network. The extension in the middle of the city requires tightly scheduled construction plans, optimum processes and clever solutions from the Arge U2xU5 consortium responsible for the project.

Kaiser Carré Siegburg

In the heart of the German town of Siegburg, the Kaiser Carré, a combined commercial and residential building, is coming into being in the highly frequented pedestrian zone.

Masterly stand renovation

The football fans who support VfB Stuttgart are happy: Their club managed to avoid relegation from the Bundesliga, Germany’s top league, at the end of the last season and returned recently to a freshly modernised home base. The sixth-largest stadium in Germany shines in new splendour after the complex renovation of the grandstand. MEVA delivered special solutions, formwork, shoring tower systems and the formwork planning.

Modern home for gymnasts

In Lenzburg something really spectacular has been created for a large number of gymnasts from the Swiss canton Aargau: The gymnastics centre, which opened on schedule, is a purpose-built facility built with loving attention to detail and with high architectural concrete walls that were erected rapidly by the construction company Treier AG using Mammut XT formwork.

Unique Tunnel Arch

MEVA modelled and planned a combined formwork system made up of custom and standard panels in order to build an architecturally challenging cycling tunnel in the German city of Mannheim.
